Now that Joe is away, Ava gets to kiss mommy while Joe is on the phone. Ava didn't like kissing the phone. She said, there's no face! So she kisses my cheek. She's super excited for the first day of school. I bet she won't sleep tonight. More pics to come of Preschool day 1!

No knife fights, no gang violence or obscenities thrown at a teacher! Gabe's day at public school sounded a bit mundane. He loves his new class and knows most of the kids in it from summer school. Mom is somewhat at ease, although vigilantly standing by to yell at someone!
